Today was my first visit here with my mom. My father just passed away and used to always talk about how much he liked this place; he was accurate! From the literal moment we parked the car we were greeted with a kind hello from a nice young man doing curbside service to the second we walked into the door. The hostess greeted us immediately and asked if the seating was ok with us; since my mother is handicapped I received the hostess's kind gesture as being aware and accommodating. Our server PJ came to our table right away, asked what we'd like to drink and without even asking, brought my mom and I a little cup of sliced lemons for our tea and water! That again, is wonderfully paying attention to details. Our food order came out in a very timely fashion (even though my fish was fried and I asked for broiled); PJ apologized and corrected it quickly with such a pleasant response. From beginning to end, the lunch dining experience was so wonderful and the food plentiful and delicious!!. I must also add how clean and cute the inside was including the Bathrooms and the wonderful bakery casing they have upfront; it just added to the appeal. This will definitely be one of my new go to_s. Not only after my wonderful experience; but, in honor of my dad! Five stars to the staff and owners!

This place has amazing portions of seafood! I got the popcorn shrimp and popcorn chicken and my plate was completely covered! The cakes... You must get a big slice.. so many flavors to choose from! Incredibly affordable food seafood. Go if you are in Danville!

We have always had the best service here. Food serving size is great! Very reasonably priced. And don't forget the cakes for desert- look when you walk in.

I’ve been to this place 3 times & it’s always been a great pleasure. Waiters are super nice, they get your order right the 1st time (I don’t think he even wrote it down) and the food was out to me within ten minutes of placing the order. If you love good seafood (and they have other options as well) and are in the Danville VA area, stop by. And it’s only about 10 minutes from the casino

Ever since covid, the service at restaurants has been hit or miss. Today was an exception to the rule. Our server CRYSTAL not only exceeded our expectations at our table but at the other tables that she was waiting on. She is absolutely an asset to this restaurant and should be commended. The food was excellent and the staff was outstanding. This will definitely be a business that we will support often.

Went here for an early dinner. Ordered the popcorn shrimp and chopped sirloin specials. It was so much food we couldn’t eat it all. It was delicious and hot. Our server was friendly and kept our drinks filled. Got a piece of coconut pineapple cake to go and I would go back just for the cake.

No complaints here. Best seafood in Danville VA - Probably the best seafood in Virginia. Best oysters I ever ate and my wife agrees. We both ordered the Captain George fried platter and should have ordered one and split it. Three kinds of fish and all were excellent. We got a few bones but we're forewarned. The shrimp were jumbo and were perfect.Next time I am going for the scallops. It was a busy note but we were served in about five minutes. The waiter was very good at his job. The prices were very reasonable too.

Really good shrimp. The service was good. The other customers were exceptionally friendly and polite, and all things considered an interesting and tasty experience.
